Along the creeks and rivers in the far reaches of Northern California, wild rhubarb grows. These plants have enormous round leaves and pink flowers that wave in the currents of air coursing quietly above the moving water.  The colors and movement of these amazing plants inspired this painting. It is painted in acrylics and pastels and hung in an elegant wooden floater frame.
