This mixed media painting was inspired by a huge high desert valley that stretches between 14,000 foot Mt. Shasta and a mountain range called the Eddies. It is a valley full of lava rock and junipers, and the light reflects it all, as far as the eye can see. The work is on panel, set in a simple wooden floater frame.
