This painting was inspired by the  glorious Autumn we had in Mt. Shasta. Walking my dog on the trails that meander around the mountain, I came upon a dazzling yellow willow tree nestled among the darker greens of stately conifers. The day was so still,  the colors so vibrant, it all felt painted on glass. The painting is acrylic on cradled panel, framed in a simple wooden floater frame.
