This colorful abstract landscape was my response to hearing the mellifluous name of a large lake in the Trinity Mountains of Northern California:  Tangle Blue. I immediately loved the name and having spent time in the Trinities, I drew on both the actual landscape and my imagination to try and capture the mystery of wild terrain.
